Welcome to St. John Paul II Catholic School

St. JP II has a long standing tradition of excellence in academics and athletics, as well as thriving art and drama programs. Our dedicated staff encourage students to aspire to excellence in spiritual growth, leadership skills and social responsibility. In an environment of mutual respect and tolerance, students and staff carry Christ's message beyond the walls of the school to active citizenship and community involvement.

Registrations for 2018/2019

We are now accepting registrations for the 2018 / 2019 school year for St. Andre Bessette Catholic High School.

Registrations are available online only through the following link:

To register, create an account, and follow the prompts to register.

Please note, all current Grade 8-11 students at OLA / St JP II do not register for St. Andre Bessette. All students currently in these grades will automatically transfer to St. Andre Bessette. Please do not register currently enrolled students.

When registering, at this point in time, you will need to select St John Paul II as the school and select the grade your child will be in next year. The system is not set up at this point for the new school, St. Andre Bessette. We will transfer the registration to the new school later in the spring once we have access in our database.

To facilitate the registration process, we will require the following:

- copy of your child's birth certificate

- copy of your child's baptism certificate if available

- an interview with our admin team to review the registration. At this meeting we will require copies of transcripts/report cards.

-once the registrations are approved, an email and link will be sent asking you to complete a demographic verification form. Completion of this form is required to finalize your registration.

Interview booking for new registrations will take place at the end of March / early April. Parents will be contacted by phone to book these times. Final decisions on new registrations will be made by the end of April.

Course registrations will take place late April early May.

St. Andre Bessette will be hosting an open house on April 18th, 2018. Check back often for updates!

The shirts you see Mrs. Damur and Mr. Romanowski modelling were designed as a fundraiser for the residents of the Valeda house. Each shirt is selling for only $20. There are Vcut slim fit shirts and a round neck loose fit. ALL of the proceeds will be going to the Valeda initiative. If you are interested in purchasing a t-shirt and making a difference please pay Mrs. Damur via cheque or cash. If you have any questions please feel free to email Mrs. Damur at melissad@eics.ab.ca
